I had been anxiously awaiting this moment, and then the day came when a delivery was made. I didn’t even have the patience to record myself opening the box—I went in like a feral raccoon, desperate to see what was inside.
The moment my eyes landed on the cover, I gasped. I picked up a copy, and almost instantly, I started to tear up. Years of writing. Years of dreaming about this moment. All of it slammed into me at once. Holding this beautiful book—my book—with pieces of my soul on every page, there are truly no words to describe what I felt.
Midnight Garden is the culmination of my emotional journey through heartbreak, ache, growth, and into self-love. It is my truth, spoken in a language my soul understands. And perhaps, it is a language you will recognize too.
I am a little over a month away from publishing my first poetry book, and I’m honored to finally share it with anyone who wants a peek through the window of my inner world. This book is for anyone who has known heartbreak—whether through family, friendships, or love. For those still walking the path of healing, and for those who have reached the other side. I believe there is something here that will resonate with you.
